7 days From Marrakech to desert
Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora
Leave Marrakech and head to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert. Along the way, you will cross the Tizi n’Tichka pass and be able to admire superb mountain landscapes.
In Ouarzazate, visit the famous Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas film studio, where many films have been shot.
Continue your journey to Zagora, a town located at the entrance to the Sahara Desert. Take advantage of the evening to relax and soak up the atmosphere of the desert.
Day 2: Zagora – Nkob – Tazzarine – Alnif – Merzouga
Leave Zagora and head towards Merzouga. On the way, you will pass by Nkob, a traditional Berber village, and Tazzarine, famous for its desert landscapes.
Pass through the small towns of Alnif and Rissani before reaching Merzouga, where you will spend the night in a Berber camp in the heart of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes.
Day 3: Merzouga – Hike in the desert – Night in a camp
Enjoy a full day in the desert of Merzouga. Go on a camel trek through the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Admire the spectacular landscapes and the sunset over the dunes.
Spend the night in a Berber camp, where you can enjoy a delicious traditional dinner, listen to Berber music and spend an unforgettable evening under a starry sky.
Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Tinghir – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Leave Merzouga and travel to Rissani, an old caravan town and an important cultural center of the region.
Then continue to Tinghir and explore the magnificent Todra Gorge. Admire the impressive cliffs and take a walk along the river.
After enjoying the Todra Gorge, continue your journey to Boumalne Dades, a charming town located along the Dades Valley.
Explore the scenic landscapes of the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic rock formations and traditional Berber villages.
Spend the night in the Dades Valley.
Day 5: Dades Valley – Valley of Roses – Skoura – Ouarzazate
Leave the Dades Valley and cross the Valley of Roses, famous for its rose crops and rose products.
Continue on to Skoura, a verdant oasis renowned for its historic kasbahs and lush gardens.
Finally, travel to Ouarzazate, where you will spend the night. Take advantage of your free time to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt or explore the city on your own.
Day 6: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This well-preserved kasbah has been the setting for many Hollywood films.
After the visit, take the road back to Marrakech crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass.
Arrival in Marrakech at the end of the afternoon.
Day 7: Transfer to the airport
On the last day of your trip, you will transfer back to the airport from your accommodation in Marrakech.
